The flash memory summit 2011 was held last week, august 9th – 11th in silicon valley California, consisting of exhibits, tutorials, workshops, panel discussions and a number of other sessions covering all aspects of flash memory from design and engineering to security and power consumption.
The summit is aimed at every industry involved with flash memory, Consumer electronics (particularly cell phones, digital cameras, PDAs, e-mail devices, music players, hand-held PCs, and video games), Attendees learnt about the latest developments in flash memory, design with the latest flash chips, new tools for developing flash applications, the latest market trends, new ways to replace disks in applications, new applications for non-volatile memory and finding new methods for reducing power consumption.
