Leading performance memory manufacturer G.SKILL has done it again. This time they have pushed their Trident Z RGB DDR4 line to hit 4700MHz out of the box. This is for their 16GB (2x8GB) kit with CL19-19-19-39 tested timings at at 1.45V. This easily loads up via XMP on supporting Intel systems making it a hassle-free overclock. Just four months ago G.SKILL introduced 32GB 4266MHz kits for their Trident Z RGB line. Now it is significantly faster.
Naturally, this kit uses Samsung DDR4 B-die ICs and validated on the MSI Z370I GAMING PRO CARBON AC motherboard and Intel Core i7-8700K processor. G.SKILL even provides the screenshots to prove it.
Considering the 16GB 4266MHz TridentZ RGB costs $329.99 and that there are no competition for 4700MHz, expect to pay quite a bit more. Don’t even be surprised if it ends up costing almost twice as much. The actual availability of the kit starts sometime in Q2 2018, so expect a more definitive pricing information closer to release.
