If you’re interested in picking up Capcom’s Street Fighter X Tekken or Asura’s Wrath this week, you may want to plan ahead as specialist high-street retailer GAME won’t be stocking either title.
They are the latest games to join a growing list of new releases that aren’t available at the troubled retailer. Last week, it was revealed that GAME’s credit insurance problems meant it won’t be stocking Mass Effect 3 or any other EA games in March following SSX’s release.
The latest development leaves a question mark over whether GAME will be able to stock future Capcom games such as Resident Evil Raccoon City. The retailer has described the situation as a “temporary problem” it’s bidding to resolve.
According to a report this morning, GAME’s directors are unsure if the company can survive the next trading season and are considering cutting their losses by shutting up shop.
