Gardening Group Looks to Recruit Minecraft Designers

Minecraft Movie Plot and Release Date Revealed

You only have to take a look at what people have created on the eTeknix Minecraft server to see that there are people out there capable of doing some pretty amazing things within the game. I mean, personally, I never played it much and when I did, I didn’t graduate beyond the realms of rather depressing mud huts. If you are, however, pretty handy with your creative abilities, then you might want to check this out!

A UK-based gardening group is actively seeking to hire people with specific skill-sets within Minecraft! And, just in case you were wondering, yes, the wages are pretty tasty too!

Minecraft Gardeners Wanted!

Following a job listing on the ‘WhatShed’ website (apparently the UK’s best garden and building buyers guide), they are actively looking to employ people with construction and aesthetic skills in Minecraft to help them work on their own realm! – No, I’m not joking! The official job listing reads:

“There is no denying the popularity of Minecraft, in 2020 there were 126 million players across Xbox, Playstation & Nintendo Switch*!

Anyway, we thought we’d take our gardening passions into the virtual world, so Whatshed is seeking to recruit a collective of virtual landscape gardeners to provide professional advice to players looking to improve their in-game outdoor space.”

Where Can I Apply?

In terms of your skill sets, outside of clearly being a bit of a Minecraft master, the only other requirements are that you’re capable of working remotely and that you’re willing to evaluate and provide constructive feedback on other peoples work. And no, although actual physical gardening experience is beneficial, it is not a requirement!

Given that they’re offering the successful applicant/s upwards of £50 an hour, this is (somewhat surprisingly) an exceptionally well-paid job! Well, pending how many hours you can all agree to. So, presuming you’re more than anxious to check this out, you can visit the official website (to submit your application) via the link here!
