Gigabyte Unveils Its GeForce GTX 960 ITX Graphics Card

Personally, I love big builds with huge graphics cards and chunky aftermarket coolers, but even I have to admit that ITX builds are impressive. Getting almost the same amount of processing power while saving up a lot of space is just winning across the board, and it looks like Gigabyte is well aware of this fact. The company recently unveiled its GeForce GTX 960 ITX graphics card, which is code-named GV-N960IX-2GD.

Designed specifically for tight PCs, the card measures just 18.1 cm in length and comes with a custom-design PCB that gets its juice via a single 6-pin PCIe connector. The cooling solution is based on a single 90mm fan, a dense aluminium fin heatsink and two 8 mm copper heat pipes that go directly on the GPU die.

As far as speed is concerned, Gigabyte’s offering comes with a standard clock speed of 1127 MHz that can reach up to 1178 MHz via GPU Boost. Furthermore, it has 2 GB of GDDR5 memory as well as a memory interface of 128 bits. When it comes to display ports, the card includes a DisplayPort 1.2, a HDMI 2.0 and two dual-link DVI connectors. The Gigabyte GeForce GTX 960 ITX has 1,024 CUDA cores and is based on Nvidia’s new Maxwell architecture. No word on availability and pricing just yet, but we will keep you posted.

Would you install this card in your system?
