Gelid Slim Silence A-Plus Low Profile (1U Server) CPU Cooler

Starting off with the temperatures and we can see that despite having half the height of the AMD stock cooler the Slim Silence A-Plus certainly doesn’t have half the performance. It performs admirably well given the size but the AMD stock cooler is still better.

Acoustics are noticeably better at idle but once the load kicks up the smaller heatsink combined with a smaller fan means the Gelid Slim Silence A-Plus has to work harder, and makes more noise at load as a result.
