GIGABYTE GeForce GTX 1060 Mini ITX OC 6GB Review
Acoustic, Thermal and Power Testing
Acoustic Performance
Amazingly, this card offers a silent fan mode, and in low-load scenarios it’ll shut off completely, giving you a perfectly silent graphics card. What’s impressive is that even when we did fire up a few games and benchmarks, the fan didn’t have to kick in for quite a while. The passive cooling capabilities are very good, and even when the fan did start, it was quiet as a mouse.
Thermal Performance
The 1060 maxed out at just 68c, which is nothing really considering the card is only cooled by a single fan!
Power Usage
The card trumps the 480 again here, jusing considerably less power, despite offering similar performance in our benchmarks.
I wouldn’t say that 2 DVI connections and just 1 DP are decent in the year 2017.
Especially as it’s not a low end card.
You can get everything a DVI offers from a DP port if needed ( with an adapter), you can’t get everything a DP offers form a DVI port.
And who needs all this? As players just have what it is
One Display Port should be enough for anyone. You can daisy chain 4 monitors on it.
just give us the decent modern ports not your own lacky opinions who are you to question others wants, perhaps multiple daisy chains are wanted… perhaps world domination
…
what?
