Final Thoughts

Pricing (accurate at the time of writing)

The Gigabyte GeForce GTX 960 2GB “ITX Edition” is priced at £169.99 at OverclockersUK and Newegg. The pricing isn’t much different to other models within the GTX 960 range, but none can boast the petite form factor, that this can.

Summary

Overall, this was a surprising little card, it came in a box that seemed far too small for a graphics card and then it gave the performance that shocked me. Obviously the performance wasn’t going to match what we’ve previously seen from other GTX 960 cards, but the smaller PCB and increased chassis compatibility more than makes up for that.

What’s not to like? It’s small, it’s cheap and it can play 1080p games without breaking a sweat. It is held back a little due to the smaller PCB and down clocks, but you have to compromise for the size. However, after the overclock the card really opened up and would possibly offer one of the best bang for buck graphics cards out today. There isn’t anything bad you can say about this card, the price really reflects the performance and it overclocks really well.

There’s not a lot to say about recommendations for this card, but I’m slightly confused as to why the card offers SLi? If the key target audience is for Small Form Factor case users where space is limited; how will there be enough space for two cards? Like with the rest of the GTX 960 range, I feel that it needs more than 2GB VRAM; however, the price reflects the 2GB of VRAM equipped to this card.

Pros

  • Silent operation
  • Extremely good overclocking capabilities
  • ITX size package
  • Strong 1080p performance

Cons

  • Nothing

“If you are looking for a graphics card to fit into a small case on a budget and don’t want to compromise on performance, look no further than the Gigabyte GTX 960 ITX
