Now we move onto the fun stuff, the gaming! Fortunately, it seems like the RTX 2080 from Gigabyte is off to a flying start here too. It scored a very healthy 113.1 minimum FPS, one of our highest to date for 1080p, and an average of 140.6. Moving up to the very demanding 4K test, it still holds up well, with an average of 59.4, which is so freaking close to 60FPS, and I doubt you would need to tweak much to get past that.

The good numbers keep on rolling in too, with a fantastic 194 FPS at 1080p, putting it just 1.97 FPS behind that of the 2080 Founder Edition. Moving up to 4K is scored 85.33 FPS on average, which is the lowest score for an RTX 2080, but given the highest was just 88.52, it’s certainly in the ballpark here; I’m very happy with that result, as would be any 4K gamer.
