Moving on from our DX12 to our DX11 testing, we see more fantastic performance once again in Far Cry Primal. The RTX 2080 hit a respectable 154 FPS, just 1 FPS behind that of the Founders Edition. Still the 1080 Ti is ahead though, but we’ve seen this plenty in 1080p testing. However, moving to 4K and the RTX 2080 is once again hitting 72 FPS, just 1 shy of the FE. Furthermore, it scored a whopping 69 FPS minimum; silky smooth gaming anyone!

This game is veryy demanding, but it is Nvidia optomised, so it’s not a big surprise it scored 140.9 FPS at 1080p. However, it scored an even more impressive 65.54 FPS at 4K. The minimum was only 41.9 but dips did seem rare. If you want constant above 60 FPS gaming, you’ll be wanting an RTX 2080 Ti.
