Final Thoughts

This has easily been the most fun gaming mouse I’ve ever worked with, the fact that it comes with an OLED screen device just makes it super cool and while it is a bit of a gimmick, it actually does work really well on a practical side, even if you don’t really need it.

I thought it was clever that you can press the Ghost button on the mouse and use the scroll wheel to navigate the Ghost device, but at the same time you can still use the mouse on your Desktop to keep playing your game, with a bit of practice you can switch profiles and change button configurations without interrupting your gameplay too much.

Build quality is what we have come to expect from the Aivia range, high quality materials and components have been used on both devices, the finish look and feel great and the build quality feels rock solid, although personally I wouldn’t expect anything less given the price range of the Aivia Uranium.

While I’m still not completely sold on wireless technology for gaming mice, this is by far the best one I have ever tested. The lag tolerances are super tight and that is mostly thanks to the Ghost Station, allowing for a much better connection between the mouse and your computer. If you’re looking for a premium performance, or just something unique to the market, then you’ll find plenty of both in the Aivia Uranium.

Pros

• The mixture of materials, ergonomics and the general feel of the mouse are superb.
• The Ghost Station is something really unique and while not really needed, it is a powerful and fun tool to use.
• Input lag times are the best I’ve ever seen for a wireless mouse.

Cons

• The price is high, but certainly justified given the feature set and performance.
