Acoustic Performance
Intel’s stock cooler has an atrocious reputation among hardware enthusiasts and many perceive it as an ineffective piece of hardware. There is some truth to this because Intel stock coolers I’ve used on the Z97 platform were horrifically loud. Thankfully, this isn’t the case with the Gladiator Computers SNIPER which remained ridiculously quiet under extreme load. Interestingly, the noise output in both load and idle usage scenarios is almost identical. Of course, the stock frequency and requirement to only cool two cores helps exponentially.
Power Consumption
The system’s fairly modest specification means it’s extremely efficient and hardly consumes any power under load. More specifically, the wattage never exceeded 135 during visually demanding games
Thermal Performance
After performing thorough testing, it’s clear that the Intel stock cooler is more than adequate for the Pentium G4400 processor and managed to keep the thermals at an average of 40C. The Gigabyte GTX 950 XTREME GAMING has an exceptional cooler and able to maintain temperatures under 60 degrees.
