Glorious Model O 2 Ultralight Gaming Mouse Review

How Much Does it Cost?

The Glorious Model O 2 USB RGB Optical Gaming Mouse is available in several variants, black or white, and each in both a wired and a wireless version. At just £64.99 the wired version is a great deal, not cheap, but for the overall quality and performance, it’s pretty much unbeatable. While a little heavier, the wireless model features the same hardware but with a little added freedom of movement.

  • Matte White Wired (GLO-MS-OV2-MW) – £64.99
  • Matte Black Wired (GLO-MS-OV2-MB) – £64.99
  • Matte White Wireless (GLO-MS-OWV2-MW) – £99.95
  • Matte Black Wireless (GLO-MS-OWV2-MB) – £99.95

Final Thoughts

With a name like Glorious, it would be pretty inexcusable to ever release a product that was anything less than the name suggested. Thankfully, thus far, Glorious has never failed to deliver a class-leading product! They’re known to be one of the best thanks to their whole mentality of for gamers by gamers, and they genuinely show results from listening to customer feedback and suggestions.

There’s absolutely no issue I have with this mouse at all, I think it’s about as close to perfect as I could ask for really. Of course, that’s somewhat subjective too and there are some things that may not sure your play style. For one, it’s wired, you may want the wireless one. It’s extremely light, and I like that, but some people do prefer a weighted mouse. The mouse wheel is a little sluggish, which is great for gaming as it allows for fast and accurate navigation of weapons, but could be a little meh if you’re only sitting on reddit speed scrolling memes. It’s also ambidextrous but lacks right-side buttons, so if you are a lefty, it’s not ideal.

However, if you’re going to use this mouse for your daily office work, it’s going to be utterly fantastic. If you’re doing some Photoshop work where you need a pixel-accurate sensor, it’s utterly fantastic there too. But if you’re going into CS:GO, Apex Legends, or let’s be honest, any online competitive game where speed and precision matter, then the Model O 2 is top of its game, with mobility, tracking and responsiveness that’s pretty much unbeatable at this price range.
