Glorious Model O 2 Ultralight Gaming Mouse Review

Glorious make some of the best, if not the best, gaming mice on the market today. Sure, there is some strong competition out there, but put it this way, I’ve tested hundreds of mice over the 15 years or so I’ve been in this industry, and guess what brand of mouse I have been using daily for the last two years? Yep, It’s Glorious. So when they asked me if I wanted to check out their brand new Model O 2 gaming mouse, I snapped at the chance to try it out.

Model O 2

Just to be clear on the product name, it’s Model, then the letter O, I don’t think it’s the clearest name to have chosen for branding on the box, but I digress. The Model O was a huge success for Gloriuos and it’s easily the product that made them the big name they are today. Now they have the O 2, which is the mouse you know and love, but with upgraded hardware, an improved shell design, a new sensor, a new cable… it’s just all new, and while it’s hard to believe it could be better than the old one, it certainly has an impressive feature list. It has Glorious’ flagship 26,000 DPI BAMF (yes, that really does stand for Bad Ass Mother, uhm… Flamingo!), 80M rated switches, RGB lighting, PTFE feet and more. However, it’s the 59-gram weight that really impresses me, and even if you go for the wireless model, it’s still only 68 grams! I have the wired model in for review today though, so let’s focus on that.

Features

  • Ultralight 59-gram weight
  • 26,000 DPI BAMF 2.0 Sensor
  • Crisp switches rated for 80M clicks
  • Vibrant RGB lighting
  • Ultra-flexible Ascended Cable
  •  Frictionless G-Skates mouse feet (100% PTFE)

So it's no wonder I write about tech and test the latest hardware while I enjoy my hobbies!
