Gorgeous New Monitors and More from AORUS at Computex 2019

Aorus

We’re huge fans of Aorus gaming hardware, from motherboards and graphics cards, to what they had to show us today. First up though, it’s their stunning new “world’s first tactical monitor.”

The Aorus CV27Q Gaming Monitor is a curved Digital LED monitor. It features a 1500R curve, which makes it great for dual and triple monitor surround setups, as well as single monitor configurations. It features a 1ms response time from its 8bit VA panel. Most impressive though is the 165 Hz refresh rate and QHD resolution.

It features a bunch of cool technologies too, such as FreeSync 2 HDR, black equaliser 2.0, and their superb frame smoothing system called “Aim Stabiliser”. That’s before you dive into features such as the AORUS Active Noise Cancelling technology. Basically, you connect your microphone to the monitor not your PC, and it’ll filter out noise like your mechanical keyboard while you’re in team chat!

It also features their superb OSD Sidekick and GameAssist technologies, that allow for things like onscreen timers, system data, and cross hairs.

Not fussed for curvy QHD panels? The new 25″ 1080p panel features 8 bit colour, as well as a staggering 240 Hz refresh rate. This again features black equalizer and aim stabilizer, as well as their custom crosshair tech, ANC, etc.

AIO Coolers

Aorus don’t release many coolers, but we’ve had some good results with their previous models. This time, however, they’re trying AIO liquid cooling. The pump features a built-in OLED display for stats and customisation effects. Of course, it also has fully addressable RGB fans for some added colour. Other than that, you get plenty of socket support, a 240mm or 280mm radiator, and hopefully some kick-ass performance too.
