Guns of Icarus Online – New Trailer, Launch Delay, & Euro Gamer Expo

Muse Games has a new trailer for their upcoming co-op airship combat game Guns of Icarus Online. Additionally, the game’s launch date has been moved to Oct 29, these extra 30 days will give the team time to make the game feature complete and bug free, and pre-orders still get instant access and 25% off all the way to our new launch date! Last but not least, the Guns of Icarus team will be in London for the Eurogamer Expo. So you can always stop by and play a round of high skies combat with the developers!

Guns of Icarus Online is the first co-operative airship combat game mixing together first-person shooter action with team-based strategy. Up to four people will crew a ship, taking on one of the key roles of Captain, Gunner, or Engineer joining a team and fighting against other ships above the post-apocalyptic waste. In Guns of Icarus Online, it will take teamwork and tactics to dominate the skies.

The most recent updates included the addition of spectator mode with a free camera and the first implementation of costumes, achievements, stat tracking, and friend lists. Additionally weapons and ships were balanced and the first tournament, Thunderdunes, was held, with 16 ships battling for the honor, prestige, and awesome prizes. Immediate access to Guns of Icarus Online is available via pre-ordering or joining in on one of the many giveaways on the facebook page or newsletter at www.GunsofIcarus.com.

I reviewed Guns of Icarus here on eTeknix a little while ago when it was still in early Beta and even then the game looked and played fantastic, so with all these new features and even more to come, I think a swift re-visit to this game will be in order nearer release to get our review up to date, but for now you can always check out our review of the game here.
