Graphics are a big part of Guns of Icarus, not only does the game play fantastic, but it really does offer a unique visual treat too, the ships them selves are wonderfully designed and flying around in a post apocalyptic wasteland through dust storms, clouds, smoke and blazing sunlight has never looks so enchanting, the ships them selves make very little noise, so the click of turning the wheel and the whir of your propellers as you float across the landscape is hypnotic at times give the steady pace of the gameplay.
Watching the enemy ships descend upon you surround by huge scrap metal structures of grand sized airships in canyons and dusty baron landscapes looks stunning, they really have a achieved a lot with a little give the games minimum requirements are pretty modest, but it really shines through on its maximum graphics settings, something we had no trouble with on our modest test rig, but as with everything else in this beta, the developers are constantly working to improve and tweak the games visual appearance and performance, so I expect when it comes round to its final release this will game will look even more fantastic than it does now.
