Havit Introduces HV-KB390L Low Profile Mechanical Keyboard

Havit is introducing a tenkeyless version of their HV-KB395L mechanical keyboard called the HV-KB390L. Instead of having a 104-key layout, the HV-KB390L has 87 keys. Although it still features the same ultra-thin mechanical keyboard design with 7mm shorter keycaps than normal. Also, it makes use of Kailh’s new shorter-throw PG1350 blue switches. Unlike the Cherry MX clone version which has an 18.5mm switch height and 4.3mm stroke distance, this new keyswitch is only 11.5mm tall and has a 3.0mm stroke distance. It has an operating force of 45+/- 10gf. Due to this change, it does not have the regular Cherry MX switch cross mount design.

Each key is LED backlit and like any worthy gaming keyboard, it has N-key rollover via USB. Since tenkeyless keyboards are ideal for portability, Havit made the 1500mm long USB cable detachable. The entire unit itself only weighs 520 grams and measures 127.5 x 354 x 22.5mm.

Additional features are accessible via the use of Fn keys. This includes the LED customization through combo key-presses with F1 through F11. Users can also control more options via the software driver. This allows for macro recording, response time adjustments and more.

Pricing and Availability

It is now available directly from Havit’s website for only $59.99 with free shipping to Canada, US, and 25 other regions.
