Humble Bundle Launches Multi-Platform Funding Program

Humble Bundle has announced that it is making a bold move of branching out to the game publishing business with the launch of their new multi-platform funding and publishing initiative. The company which launched in 2010 has earned the respect of the indie gaming community through their charitable business approach and flexible pricing. Humble Bundle’s move entails a multi-million dollar investment beginning with seven games “across a range of genres and styles, for PC, console and mobile platforms” according to publishing lead John Polson.

“What publishing allows us to do differently is to help developers prior to release, It also helps us guarantee eager gamers will get to play some awesome games, each affixed with the trusted Humble brand of quality we are known for.” adds Polson.

Humble Bundle is going to offer a wide range of funding and publisher services “a la carte” style, allowing developers to opt in various services offered or select the only ones they need instead of being forced to follow a top-down encompassing business service. This way, it developers have control of how the project will be deployed as well as funded. This includes options for marketing, ports, localization, and more. Humble Bundle also offers a Partners affiliate program for helping developers expose their games and have it reach a wider audience including on social media platforms such as Twitch or YouTube.

The seven games on Humble Bundle’s development line up include:
