A Closer Look

The cooling tower looks pretty menacing, with thick hardware and those immense heat pipes on the base. The most notable feature, however, is that powder black thermal coating, which gives it the look of some stealth military hardware.

The dual towers are symmetrical, and there’s fan clip grooves on each side of each tower, meaning you can mount the fans however you like.

The base plate is just as beastly as the rest of the cooler, but those monstrous heat pipes eventually find their way down to a polished copper contact plate.

The heat pipes pass through both cooling towers in a U shape, with a little of each pipe showing at the top of each cooling stack.

Overall, the build quality on this unit is pretty immense, it’s big, it’s black, it’s pretty heavy, so hopefully that will carry over to some impressive cooling performance.
