Inateck MercuryBox Bluetooth Speaker Review

Final Thoughts

Price

The Inateck Ultra Portable Aluminium Wireless Bluetooth Speaker is available from Amazon.com for just $48.99 readers in the UK can get it from Amazon.co.uk for £49.99. Sure, those in the US get a better deal, but take my word for it, £49.99 is a good deal for something that offers this level of quality and performance.

The Rapid car charger is just £20.99 (no price available on Amazon US). The waterproof case is just £8.88/$9.99.

Overview

I’m really impressed with these products, of course, the first two didn’t exactly have a mountain to climb, they do exactly what they say on their respective boxes. The car charger and the waterproof case are really good quality and affordable, which is about the best you could hope for with such things.

The MercuryBox speaker, however, was our real focus for today and I must admit I’m almost literally blown away. How such a small speaker can pack so much punch is really impressive. When you’ve got it turned up, you can actually feel the air pressure coming from the front of it, you can feel the bass pulsing through your hand when you hold it and people within a decent radius can rock out to it.

It’s a simple concept, but some speakers in a small box, it’s not the most complex thing in the world. However, Inateck have done really well by packing it with a long-life battery, I’ve gotten a good ten hours with the volume set at almost max before I ran into a lower battery issue, more than enough to get you through a long day out at the park. The design is gorgeous and it certainly looks as good as it performs. It’s waterproof, take it in the shower, out in the rain, knock your drink over near it and you’ve got nothing to worry about; apart from having to clean up your spilt drink. The included cables are gorgeous, super high quality and really complete the whole package.
