In Far Cry Primal, the graphics card falls just shy of a 100 frames-per-second average and never drops below 60. This allows for a very smooth and enjoyable user experience when opting for a demanding preset.
While the GTX 1080 exhibits a decent boost during 1080P testing, the gap is huge when using a 1440P monitor. This is somewhat surprising and I’m baffled to see the minimum frame-rate fall by such a small degree. Despite this, I ran the benchmarks numerous times and encountered the same phenomenon.
Here we can see the graphics card cannot manage 60 frames-per-second during 4K benchmarking, but it’s still a good result which deserves praise.
