Looking at the front of the box we see the typical Intel colour scheme with the two-tone blue and multi-colour band across the middle. On the top we see they show that the SSD is a super-fast hard drive replacement, which for those who still run on traditional hard drives is the next step in a performance upgrade.
The rear of the box gives a run down of what is included in the box and more importantly to the right we note that the drive comes with a five year limited warranty. This in itself is a huge selling point and with Intel having branches all over the globe, any warranty support that may be needed is never too far away.
Included with the drive itself, we find a Molex to SATA power adaptor, SATA data cable, fixing screws, information guide, a CD with the warranty and installation guide on it, a ‘Speed Demon’ case sticker, and 2.5″ to 3.5″ mounting tray – whilst the latter may not be the most elegant tray we’ve seen, its practical and does the job that its intended to.
