Super PI is a single-threaded benchmark that calculates pi to a specific number of digits. It uses the Gauss-Legendre algorithm and is a Windows port of a program used by Yasumasa Kanada in 1995 to compute pi to 232 digits
Available now on Super PI.
So starting things off with Super PI and we’re off to a good start. The 13400F came in at 428 seconds originally, while the 14400F has cut this time down by a modest 9%. It might not sound like a lot, but considering the extra cost is less than 2%, it’s definitely a win and now sees the 14400F come in better than the Ryzen 5 5600 though that is a much much cheaper CPU, but more importantly rivals the 5800X3D which has seen its price increase back up to a little over $300.
