Intel are expected to announce a new processor soon, based on a listing in Intel’s Material Declaration Data Sheets (MDDS) database. The Intel Pentium G645 will be an improved variant of the Pentium G640. It will retain the same 2.8GHz clock speed across its two cores with 3MB of cache and a 65W TDP but will have improved on board graphics. The current GPU on the G640 runs at 850MHz core and 1100MHz turbo whilst the G645 GPU will either have higher clock speeds or a better overall GPU (probably an upgrade from Intel HD 2000 to HD 3000). The current tray price of the Intel Pentium G640 is $64 so the Intel Pentium G645 should be slightly higher, around $70.
