Intel Sweetens Raptor Lake CPUs & Arc GPUs With Huge Software/Gaming Bundles!

While we daresay that Intel’s upcoming Raptor Lake series of desktop processors will be a popular (or at least highly anticipated) choice for many consumers, it’s hard to say the same about their Arc graphics cards. Yes, admittedly, in regards to CPUs it’s going to be interesting to see where Raptor Lake sits in comparison to AMD Ryzen 7000. And particularly so following Team Red’s genuinely impressive launch event. For Intel’s graphics cards though, well… Arc is looking to be a (likely) mostly disappointing affair.

Following an official announcement, however, it seems that Intel is very keen to sweeten the deal when it comes to their upcoming CPUs and GPUs as a huge bundle promotional deal has been announced which will potentially see nearly $400’s worth of software and/or games offered for ‘free’ with select models!

Intel Unveil Huge Software/Gaming Bundle Deal!

We should firstly note that it’s a little unclear exactly what consumers can expect from this promotion. Put simply, while up to $400’s worth of games and software is available, it’s more than likely that this will be somewhat watered down when it comes to individual purchases. – In truth though, the deal is more than a little impressive with the following options being cited:

Premium Software

  • Call of Duty®: Modern Warfare® II (Full Download ARV: US$69.99)
  • Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed (Full Download ARV: US$39.99)
  • Gotham Knights (Full Download ARV: US$59.99)
  • Vampire: The Masquerade® – Bloodhunt™ (In-Game Content ARV: US$20.00)

Featured Software
Download 3 of 5 title(s)

  • PowerDirector 365™ (Full Download ARV: US$69.99)
  • D5 Render™ (Subscription ARV: US$114.00)
  • MAGIX Video Pro X14 (Subscription ARV: US$60.00)
  • Topaz Gigapixel AI (Full Download ARV: US$99.99)
  • XSplit Premium Suite (Subscription ARV: US$60.00)

What Do We Think?

Unlike AMD and Nvidia who regularly offer promotion deals with their graphics cards, this is something pretty unusual from Intel here. Typically speaking, they have in the past avoided promotional deals such as this in the clear belief that their products are strong enough to sell on their own merits. – Overall, there is something smelling a little of mild desperation here and more than likely mostly angled towards their upcoming Arc graphics cards.
