We use the below software to run our benchmarks, tests and calculations that are part of our CPU reviews. For a more detailed overview of each test please refer to each individual page of the review where more details are provided. All the methods settings and procedures are held constant for all CPUs included in the graphs, in this case that is just the Core i7 4770K and Xeon E3-1230Lv3. This means all results are comparable and the only changed testing parameter is the CPU.

We would like to thank SuperMicro, Intel, Corsair, AMD, Lian Li and all our other partners who supplied us with test equipment, software and hardware. Their generosity makes our testing possible and without them we wouldn’t be able to produce the reviews we do, so thank you!
