With the GTX 760 being the latest cards from Nvidia released at the moment, and offering amazing value for the performance on offer, we thought that it would only be fitting if we took a look at them in SLI, and with the help of two KFA2 GTX 760 EX OC 2GB cards that they sent along to us, we managed to pair things up to see how SLI performance was on these sets of cards.
It’s been quite a long time since we’ve created an article like this, as we tend to focus on a graphics card in its own right, but with such a strong price considering the performance on offer, it would be criminal not to take a look at how two cards perform together. This also allows us to check out the Nvidia drivers and how they perform in terms of scaling.
Off I went to find a SLI bridge, and proceeded to install these two cards into our test bench. As we’ve already covered these cards in single fashion, there isn’t much use covering old ground and instead we can get straight into taking a look at our test system and the list of application suites and games that we’ll be using today. After this is covered, we can delve straight into the results side of things and see exactly how the performance is on two KFA2 GTX 760 EX OC graphics cards in 2-way SLI, which will also tell us how Nvidia are developing their drivers, so lets get straight into it and hope for some strong scaling across two cards.
