As the density of flash storage rockets towards greater levels, the dimensions of USB flash drives has benefited greatly with the days of bulky drives that pack only a small capacity numbered. Nano sized USB2.0 drives are becoming popular to buy albeit only offering last generation speeds. Although the microDuo is loosely part of the nano sized group of devices, the dual-USB design results in a drive that is a little longer to what we would normally see today.
In between the USB ports, the microDuo has enough space to pack in up to 32GB of RAW storage space although the USB2.0 interface will restrict transfer speeds to around 20-30MB/s read on a desktop system.
Pulling back and lifting up the cover exposes the microUSB port for connecting the drive to OTG compatible devices. Once finished with the cover easily slides back over and latches into place leaving the other USB port free for desktop or notebook use whilst protecting the microUSB jack from damage.
