Lenovo Launches Yoga 730 2-in-1 with Intel 8th Gen i7 CPU

Lenovo Launches the Yoga 730 at MWC 2018

Lenovo was present at Mobile World Congress 2018 in Barcelona to announce several new products. One of these is the new Lenovo Yoga 730, a 2-in-1 laptop powered by Intel’s latest 8th generation core processor. Just like the Yoga 720 from last year, the Yoga 730 has a touch screen and can turn from notebook to tablet mode.

It also introduces a few minor design improvements over the Yoga 720. The back edge at the top and bottom for example, are now slightly rounded off and the hinge slopes down between them. This creates a distance between the screen and the keyboard when in tablet mode, making it easier to hold. It still has no Windows Hello camera support, however, it does have a fingerprint reader.

Users can choose between a 13.3-inch or a 15.6-inch Yoga 730 variant. There is also a choice in screen resolution starting with a 1920 x 1080 model or a 3840 x 2160 4K UHD touch display version. The memory is configurable for up to 16GB of memory and supports up to 512GB of SSD storage.

The only other major difference between the Yoga 730 sizes is the GPU. The smaller 13.3-inch version is only available with Intel integrated graphics. Whereas the 15.6-inch model is available with up to an NVIDIA GTX 1050 GPU.

How Much is the Lenovo Yoga 730?

The Yoga 730 13.3-inch starts at $879 USD, while the larger 15.5-inch model starts at $899 USD. Both will be available by April 2018.
