A Closer Look
A first look at the mouse reveals it to be very unique and can only be seen as if it’s missing certain components. When i first saw it in the flesh i thought it was going to eat my hand and now before you say, I’m not joking! It features various buttons on the top including the left and right click with the standard layout of a scroll wheel in the middle. Just behind the scroll wheel is a button to adjust the DPI from its lowest setting to a whopping 5600 DPI.

Other buttons that are “not part of the norm” include the mode button which enables you to set different buttons for different functions. You get the ability to choose three sets of button assignments so you may have one set for Windows tasks whilst the other two may be for Crysis and Black Ops. Another cool feature is the thumb scroll which can be programmed in conjunction with the “mode” button to have various uses as it works as two functions for scrolling up and scrolling down. The likely function for this would be for some kind of weapon change in a game, or to scroll through items.

The palm rest part of the mouse is interchangeable and features numbers from 20 down to 0 and can be slid back and forth to enable the mouse to fit any size hand no matter if big or small.

The left hand side of the mouse features a comfortable thumb rest with the Cyborg man printed above. It has a screw in the middle for easy removal due to extra thumb rests being included. There are three buttons on here including the Precision Aim Button (of which you can adjust the sensitivity of in the profile manager) and the standard backwards and forward buttons that we’re all used to and you guessed it; they are programmable too.

Just next to the where the mode button is situated is a DPI indicator which gives indication as to what DPI setting the mouse is on, when switching between DPI presets, it will change accordingly.

The right hand side of the mouse is a lot simpler and only includes an interchangeable panel depending on your preference.

The front of the mouse gives off a mean look with an open area in front of the scroll wheel. Underneath the metal bracket can be seen which features some pads for the best gliding performance and durability.

The back of the mouse features the mechanical side of things with the main aspect being taken over by the big thumbscrew. By taking this off, it will reveal the pre-applied weights that are already fitted to the mouse. If need be, you can remove these or add the extras that come supplied in the tin, but this is all personal preference to what feels right to you. Just to the right of this area is where the battery will clip into, there is a slight grooved compartment that tucks the battery away nicely, and whilst one is fitted, the other can be put on charge in the receiver.

The bottom of the mouse gives a clear view of the feet that are applied in the main pressure points of the mouse. The scroll wheel can also be seen as well as the weights that we spoke about. The middle of the mouse shows the laser with the 5600 DPI wording around it to indicate that this mouse means business. There is also a very small on/off toggle switch next to it, if you wish to turn it off at any time.
