MFAVOUR Ergonomic Mesh Chair Review

How Much Does It Cost?

The MFAVOUR ergonomic mesh chair comes in at an RRP of £239.99 on Amazon UK; the price brings this chair into a higher category of classification than the average cheap chair that office space would buy in bulk for its employees. But at this price you still aren’t looking at a premium option from a big name brand; this chair is what I would describe as being in the high end of cheap chairs.

Overview

As a whole, none of the small issues in comfort I had were bothersome enough to warrant a bad review; the chair is perfectly comfortable for long periods of time as long as you are sat correctly, and even if you aren’t sat correctly, simply adjusting the lumbar support can negate any comfort issues you may have been having.

The materials and construction feel like they will last a long time without any issues. When you buy a chair you need to consider that some aspects of the chair will naturally degrade over time and after lots of use, one such thing is the cushioning. Over time, it will degrade to the point where you will basically be sitting directly on the hard material under the cushion; but in this case, the cushion feels high enough quality that I would expect it to last a long time without showing signs of it degrading.

Something I can’t speak on is the longevity of the gas lift, without spending days playing with it to see how long it lasts I can’t give an idea of how long it will survive. Something I can tell you about the gas lift is that it feels smooth to use and has enough pressure to provide a tiny bit of suspension to the chair; which makes the act of sitting down or adjusting my posture more comfortable.

Should I Buy One?

If what you are looking for is a decent chair that will last you a long time, keep you sitting properly and not break the bank then I’d recommend this chair; it doesn’t take long to assemble and is fairly easy, and it’s easy to adjust for your own comfort. But do bear in mind that this is still a low-cost option; if you have more specialized needs then I wouldn’t recommend this chair as its functions are fairly simple, and you may not be able to comfortably use it. The last thing I would suggest is using this as an office chair and not a gaming chair; whilst it is comfortable, I don’t know a single person who plays pc games whilst sitting back with perfect posture, even though we admittedly should.
