MSI Reveals G253PF, a Fast 380Hz 1080p Monitor

MSI has today revealed the G253PF, a 24.5″ lightning-fast 380hz IPS gaming monitor.

The Display

The MSI G253PF is a new monitor bringing faster reaction times to esports gamers, boasting a blisteringly fast 380hz 1080p display with a 1ms response time. This display is for those who desire extremely fast reaction times in competitive titles. Alongside its fast refresh rate and response time the MSI G253PF also features DisplayHDR 400 certification bringing a more vivid and wider colour range. The monitor also features a wide colour gamut with ADOBE RGB 85% / DCI-P3 83% / SRGB 106% coverage.


The MSI G253PF is a simple monitor that gives you high speeds and only that with no fancy bells and whistles. The display features a 5-way joystick navigator for easily navigating the settings menus and provides you with the option of 3 video ports. 2X HDMI 2.0 ports up to 240Hz and 1 Displayport 1.4 which supports the full 380Hz. The monitor also features 1 headphone output.


In terms of ergonomics the monitor itself has viewing angles of 178° (H) / 178° (V) and features an adjustable stand. The stand can be height adjusted from 0 ~ 130mm and can be tilted -5° ~ 20° though if this isn’t enough the display features a 75 x 75 VESA mount for an alternative solution. To provide maximum comfort in long sessions the display is equipped with Anti-Flicker and less blue light technology to prevent eye strain and fatigue.
