MSI Sell their Twin Frozr II Cooler separately in Japan

We all know how incredibly popular MSI Twin Frozr cooled range of graphics cards are. They sport the excellent cooler which offers low temperatures pummelling the majority of reference coolers whilst still being much quieter.

The catch is, up until now, that you have to buy the cooler pre-fitted onto a graphics card making it not a viable option for a lot of users. Recently MSI started selling their Twin Frozr II VGA cooler separately in Japan now making it available to the masses.

From the little information released, we know that the cooler fits GF100 and GF110 designed cards making it compatible with the GTX 465, 470, 480, 570 and 580. With a weight of 520g and measuring in at 251.9mm x100.9mm x35mm, it will be perfect for anybody looking to upgrade their graphics card’s cooling but being restricted to a dual-slot form factor. The Twin Frozr II cooler offer excellent performance by using 5 heatpipes ranging in size between 6mm and 8mm removing the heat directly from the nickel-plated copper base to be dissipated by the stack of aluminium cooling fins and 2 PWM fans.

Price isn’t going to be cheap at slightly more than $70, but hopefully the performance can justify the price tag.
