MSI X370 XPOWER Gaming Titanium Motherboard Review
Memory Performance
AIDA64 Engineer
Memory performance isn’t bad, but it’s noticeably slower in the copy and write tests. We have had troubles with memory speeds so far on this motherboard, but we’ve heard from sources that this should mature in future BIOS updates.
SiSoft Sandra
Again the results are behind the crowd, not by a huge margin, but it does stand out in synthetic benchmarks.
Combined Latency Test
Again, the latency is quite high, almost double what it should be in Aida and almost four times in SiSoft. Rest assured we’ll be re-testing this feature once we get a new BIOS.
THank you very much for the review. I am trying to choose between the ASRock and the MSI products. I would be interested in a review of the ASRock X370 Fatal1ty Gaming Professional. The memory is clearly an issue. Hopefully it is solved soon.
Just brand alone, the Asrock is superior. At least from my own personal experience.
Must admit I fail to see the point reviewing a motherboard and not having any other X370 motherboards to compare it to.. The power consumption looks really good though, AMD has pretty much knocked it out of the park with this CPU.
Well at least one board has to go first, it’s all we had. We have more Ryzen motherboard reviews now though 🙂
