Nexus Real Silent Case Fan Basic Series Review

Packaging and Contents
As we are focussing on the whole of the Basic Series of these fans there are in fact 4 different fans we are looking at today, however, the packaging remains the same for all 4 although the sizes will differ!

On the front you see the Nexus logo in the top left, and then 3 light orange ovals listing the sound level, the RPM and the airflow (in CFM).

At the bottom is the size of the fan (in this case: 80mm, 92mm and 120 mm) and the Real Silent Case Fan: Basic Series. Nexus also produce a PWM Controlled Series.

In between these is a rather large (in the case of the 120mm especially) clear transparent window allowing you to see the majority of the fan – to the left is this girl who is holding her finger to her mouth in what we presume is a ‘shhh’ manner! This is presumably to make it clear they are very quiet fans.

On the back of the box is the mirror image of the front, except that over the window is a two line statement about Nexus and their fans – which is in 7 different languages.

On the left-hand side of the box are the specifications, which covers most things.
