A Closer Look
Taking a closer look at the fans itself we see they are all of a 7-bladed design. Recently we have seen with CPU fans that they have been moving towards the 9-bladed fans so this is an interesting move.

They all use the same frame design and same bearings and motor designs. However the size of the motors do vary, in the 80mm fan the motor requires 0.15 A, 92mm fan 0.25 A and in the 120mm fan 0.30 A. Of course the larger the fan the more current the motor will need to draw to turn the blades especially as the larger blades move more air.

The frame only obstructs the one side of the fan (the top) and so on the bottom there are no frame supports to the fan giving maximum air flow.

The cable connections are nothing out of the ordinary, giving you the option of plugging the fan into a Chassis fan slow on the motherboard using the 3-pin connector or plugging it straight into the 12V rail of your Power Supply using the 4-pin Molex connector.

As is standard with most fans there are 3 cables for these fans, colored red, yellow and black although for the 92mm fan it is red, white and black for some unknown reason.

All of these fans have a hole in each corner for the mounting pins and also have the direction of rotation and consequent air flow direction marked on with small arrows. It must be noted that we have 2 * 120mm fans here and one is orange compared to the standard black and white theme, although there is no obvious or significant difference between them. The picture below includes the mounting pins which are the standard rubber pins which allow for easy mounting while reducing vibrations.
