How Much Does it Cost?

TheNinjutso Origin One X Wireless Ultralight Gaming Mouse is available now from Overclockers UK. It’s got an MSRP of £79.99, which I think is a little expensive, as some rivals are a little cheaper than that. However, it’s currently down to just £59.99, and I think I can live with that price. It’s not cheap, but it’s a quality product, with great performance, and I think that more than justifies the investment. It’s available in black here, or white here.

Overview

I may not have known who Ninjutso were before, but I certainly do now. This is a really strong product, and for a brand that’s only been on the market two years now, they’re clearly doing something right. This may not have the pedigree name like Corsair, ASUS, SteelSeries, etc, but hey, they all had to start somewhere too.

“After nearly a year of engineering we developed the SnappyFire wireless solution. It allows the Origin One X to perform even better than some wired mice with no visible delay whatsoever. It empowered us to make the world’s lightest wireless ergo gaming mouse. Weighing only 66g with no holes and 48 hours of battery life, Origin One X is our first good-will gesture for the community and more are on the way.” – Ninjutso

Clearly, they delivered on their goal. The Ninjutso Origin One X is one of the lightest and fastest gaming mice I’ve ever tested. Plus, it has exceptional battery life, which means you’ll be able to game for longer, without pausing to find a charger. If this is any indication of their future products, then I really can’t wait to see what else they can do!

When it comes to gaming, it’s a solid mouse, and very well suited to fast-paced gameplay. For MOBA and FPS, I can’t fault it. However, I am a lazy MMO gamer that loves more buttons, so if you want macros, RGB, many buttons, and all that jazz, this isn’t the mouse for you. If you’re just going to sit on CS:GO for 24 hours straight, this is the mouse for you, it’s that simple.

It’s well made, it’s light, fast, and accurate, and while not cheap, I think the price is fair given the level of performance and exceptional battery life. Plus, it’s refreshing to see a mouse that doesn’t have RGB.
