Nitro Concepts S300 Gaming Chair Review

A Closer Look – The Finished Product

I’m thrilled I requested the black and orange finish for this gaming chair. The colour looks stunning and contrasts well with the black. Little details, like the matching stitching in the headrest, cushion, and the wheelbase complete the look. Of course, I’m sure the other colours look great too.

Furthermore, the chair feels stable. The five-point base is sturdy and durable. It rolls around with ease, even on thicker carpets.

Comfortable Seat

The seat design is excellent too, with a deep seat that lets you sit quite far back. Of course, this seating position provides plenty of back support but is also quite friendly for those who like to slouch down a little.

The lumbar cushion is height adjustable and entirely optional. However, I prefer my chairs without one, but this one is thickly padded, and you can sink your back into it.

Adjustable Arm Rests

The armrests are well designed. The top section is lightly padded, rather than hard plastic, meaning you can rest your elbows on it comfortably. You can adjust them up and down to suit your resting position, as well as being able to move them forwards and backwards.

The head cushion is pretty cool, as most gaming chairs wrap the strap around the whole chair. However, this one mounts right on the cut-outs, and looks like its floating; it’s a much cleaner finish. If anything, I would have left the flame decal off of the cushion, as it’s duplicated right above on the chair.

As you can see, the straps pass through the back of the chair, making them easy to install or remove.

Neat Stitching

The padding on the chair is robust and plentiful. It offers loads of support and a hard-wearing yet very comfortable design. Even the stitching is neat and tidy, something many cheaper chairs make a mess of.

Laid Back

The chair can be reclined quite a bit, and this is the maximum. Some chairs to go further back, but this is more than far enough for any typical user.

Overall, for this price range, the S300 is fantastic. I doubt you could find a better chair for less.
