Nitro Concepts S300 Gaming Chair Review

Final Thoughts

Price

The full range of Nitro Concepts S300 gaming chairs is available on Overclockers UK. Prices are typically £229.99, however, at the time of writing they’re listed on sale at just £199.99. That’s a fair price for any gaming chair, but fantastic value given the level of features on offer from the S300. Of course, with seven colours to choose from, finding your ideal one should be easy. Furthermore, there’s a special Benfica Special Edition for just £229.99 that looks amazing.

Overview

I’ve reviewed and owned many gaming chairs over the years, and the S300 stacks up very well. I have the Nitro Concepts C80 in the spare office, and at £144 it’s a cheaper chair and lacks many of the features of the S300. However, stepping up another £55 makes a huge difference. For the extra money, you get adjustable armrests, adjustable backrests, lumbar and head cushions, more height adjustment, and a better tilt.

The build quality is excellent too. Many gaming chairs feature really cheap padding and material. Sure, they look great, but they’ll wear out in a few months and you’re shopping for another. The fabrics and materials used for the S300 are much more durable and long-lasting. Of course, you get what you pay for.

The base is plastic, and it’s a pretty safe design overall. However, if you want a metal base, and fancy wheels, or anything else, you can expect to pay north of £300 for the privilege. You don’t need all that stuff though, and if you’re looking for a comfortable and stylish chair, £200 is the sweet spot for most consumers.

Easy to build, and with plenty of colour options available, the S300 is easily going to be a popular product. What colour would choose for your home or office? Let us know in the comments section below!

Pros

  • Good build quality
  • Great range of colours
  • Firm yet comfortable padding
  • 3D adjustment armrests
  • Padded armrests
  • Tilt lock
  • Lumbar and head cushions included
  • Colour matched stitching and base inserts
  • Competitively priced

Cons

  • None

Neutral

  • Flame logo on the head cushion isn’t needed, as backrest cushion has the same logo right above it. Clutching at straws over minor issues here though.
