Acoustics & Temperatures

As this is a full-sized desktop system with an AIO liquid cooler and some impressive airflow design to the chassis, we didn’t expect temperatures to get particularly high. In addition, and by proxy, we also expected noise levels to be relatively low.

We did, however, have to remind ourselves while testing that in terms of specifications, this system is exceptionally high powered which, in its nature, means more demanding components. As such, when taken into consideration, although the CPU and GPU temperatures may not appear that great, it is relative to the workload these components have and produce.

Despite this, however, as you can see, the Novatech Reigns Paladin MKII is clearly one of the quietest systems we have ever tested. If I was to own this system to use it, however, I think I’d personally trade off a little on the noise by putting those fan speeds up a tad. That should result in far more positive temperature scores.
