The Nvidia GTX 750 Ti is hardly an inspiring looking card. It has a tiny little PCB, which is of course good for SFF systems, and it has what looks like a tiny Intel stock cooler stuck on top. However, don’t let looks deceive you because this card still packs one hell of a punch. The fact the cooling solution is also so pathetic and crappy is actually a GOOD thing, it shows just how little cooling the GTX 750 Ti needs. In fact I’d be confident in saying we should expect to see some passive versions of the GTX 750 Ti if Nvidia lets its partners do that.
The fan used is about 55mm wide and the total length of the card is around 6 inches.
The memory chips are provided by SK Hynix and there are four at 512MB in size each.
The 55mm does have PWM controls and blows directly down onto a monolithic aluminium heatsink.
The PCB is entirely black and on the rear we can see screws to allow for easy removal of the heatsink.
A variety of low cost caps and coils can be seen near the rear of the card. Nvidia has kept these pretty basic to give its partners room to make much better cards with better VRM implementations.
The rear I/O has dual DVI and mini HDMI. You’ll be able to run Nvidia Surround on this card.
