Windows 10 is proving to be a successful operating system, as it is already installed on more than 75 million devices at the time of writing. However, not all of those who tried out Microsoft’s new OS were completely satisfied with their experience, particularly when it comes to gaming in SLI on NVIDIA’s GeForce graphics cards. In order to address the issue, NVIDIA has recently released its GeForce 355.80 hotfix, which aims to solve annoying issues such as excessive virtual memory consumption in SLI and on dual-GPU graphics cards.

Windows 10 is no stranger to graphics memory management problems, but it’s probably safe to assume that both NVIDIA and AMD are currently working on hotfixes for all remaining issues. These problems have angered gamers from all over the world and for good reason. However, with Windows 10 receiving updates on a regular basis, the OS will become more stable and more compatible with multiple PC configurations as it matures.

If you’ve been experiencing the aforementioned GPU problems yourself, it’s definitely a good idea to head over to NVIDIA’s support page and download the hotfix driver. Make sure to let us know if it makes a difference.
