NZXT H230 Classic Silent Mid-Tower Review

Total build time for the H230 was a super quick 20 minutes and I can safely say I didn’t meet any major issues during the install process. The build looks clean, all our components are nicely spaced out and the cable management looks pretty slick too.

I removed the rear 120mm fan to install our H80i. While the cooler does fit, it was putting a little strain on the pipes, so I had to leave the CPU block at a 90 degree rotation, not that this is an issue of course as it doesn’t effect the performance.

Of course I wasn’t about to waste the 120mm fan from the back, so I have installed it in the front panel, giving me 2 x 120mm intake fans, more than enough to feed out GPU and CPU with cool air. I also removed the middle HDD dock for display purposes and I have mounted our Kingston SSD to the base of the chassis below the HDD drawers.

The main cable routing hole at the bottom is more than enough for our PSU, but I love that NZXT have included two smaller ones to handle the motherboard cables as it means they’re not all tangled together through one hole.

All panels back in place and the chassis looks just like it did when we took it out of the box, the perfect stealth build.
