NZXT H440 Full Tower Chassis Review

Final Thoughts

Total build time for the H440 was a breezy 15 minutes, one of the quicker builds I’ve ever done and that’s mostly down to the ease of use. The chassis is an absolute joy to work with, there’s plenty of clearance for all major components, cable routing is accessible and the shroud at the bottom makes managing the PSU cables an easy task. Not only is the chassis easy to work with, but the end result looks gorgeous and it’s easily one of the cleanest looking builds we’ve ever done.

The hard drive bays in the front have plenty of space between them to allow airflow from the front fans, but I did have to remove the top bay as it conflicted with the water cooling pipes with the radiator this way around, hardly a big deal though as it’s easily resolved by turning the radiator around, I just prefer it this way.

The extensive cable routing options have worked wonders for keeping the airflow inside the chassis unobstructed and from front to back there is little to nothing on display that shouldn’t be.

The NZXT Kraken X60 fits nicely into the top, although there is only enough for a single layer of fans, not much chance of a push-pull configuration. It’s also worth pointing out that the X60 is a fairly slim radiator, so thick radiators are not going to be suitable for the top mount.

Side panel back in place and we see the H440 in all its glory, what else can I say other than “wow”. The build looks super cool, clean and manages to blend a minimalist exterior with an incredibly clean-looking interior.

Finally, we’ve revisited our review to add in this final image to show you that you can use the cable routing holes in the PSU shroud to route your GPU cables, a nice alternative to using the ones beside the motherboard.
