NZXT H7 Flow RGB Case Review

Hardware Support

On the interior, there’s a lot of room for high-end hardware, but that was to be expected given that the H7 is on the larger side for a mid-tower which measures 505mm tall, 230mm wide and 480mm long and weighs 10.57KG. However, it’ll take a Mini-ITX, Micro-ATX, or ATX motherboard easily enough, and the motherboard stand-offs are pre-installed too, so you can get it installed pretty quickly.

There’s room for pretty much any modern gaming hardware in here too, with graphics cards of up to 400mm of GPU clearance, but of course, any front-mounted cooling configurations will eat into that, but still, that’s a huge amount of space for an RTX 4090 and a front-mounted radiator anyway.

In the top and the front, you can get up to a 360mm radiator, with the front supporting push/pull (60mm clearance) and the top a single layer of fans and a slim radiator (30mm clearance), so you don’t conflict with the motherboard/VRM heatsinks. While in the rear, it’ll support a 120/140mm fan/radiator too. The case will allow up to a 185mm tall CPU cooler too, which is to say virtually all CPU coolers on the market today will fit with room to spare.

In the rear, there’s a minimum cable clearance of 18mm and a maximum of 22mm, which combined with the built-in PSU shroud should ensure that even the most idle and lazy PC builders can just cram excess cables out the way and get a good-looking build. Plus, there are clear and easy-to-use dedicated channels and restraints for cables behind the motherboard, helping you further achieve a good quality build. The maximum PSU clearance is 200mm too, so large PSUs just won’t be a problem.

Finally, there’s the HDD support, with removable trays behind the motherboard, as well as a removable cage under the PSU shroud, giving you 4 x 2.5″ mounts and 2 x 3.5″ mounts that can also be used for 2 x 2.5″ drives; there are two more SSD trays in the box, so you can add them to the PSU shroud.
