NZXT H7 Flow RGB Case Review

How Much Does it Cost?

The NZXT H7 Flow RGB is available now from Scan Computers for a very reasonable £139.99, and while that is a lot of money, for the level of quality and features on offer, I think it’s very competitive. However, there are some models that are cheaper if you don’t want the RGB fans, which is really up you to!

  • NZXT H7 Flow RGB White Mid Tower Tempered Glass PC Gaming Case – £139.99
  • NZXT H7 Flow RGB Black Mid Tower Tempered Glass PC Gaming Case – £139.99
  • NZXT H7 Elite White Mid Tower Tempered Glass PC Gaming Case – £119.99
  • NZXT H7 Flow Black Mid Tower Tempered Glass PC Gaming Case – £119.99

Overview

NZXT really have been listening to their customers for many years now, and we’ve seen them reiterate popular cases year after year, making them the best cases they can be. It’s all little details, but honestly, over time, they certainly add up. The features that really stand out though are both airflow and dust filters. NZXT went for aesthetics first a few years ago, which is fine, but modern hardware is running pretty toasty again and more airflow was needed. They increased the airflow, and dust filtering was… well, it was crap. Now though, they’ve got even more airflow than ever before, and the tightest fitting panel and comprehensive filtering that puts many of their rivals to shame.

Flawless Build Quality

The build quality is superb too, but NZXT has been building their H-series case tough as tanks for years, and that just hasn’t changed. Everything is rock solid, no wobbly panels, no ill-fitting panels, nothing squeaks or rattles. The internal framing is extremely robust, so if you’re fitting heavy liquid cooling and other hardware in here, there’s just nothing to be concerned about. I love that the front panel and top panel are a single piece on their external layer too, running edge to edge, so there are no additional shut lines of fixtures to deal with.

Cable Routing Master

The cable management is best in class, with a huge amount of space under the PSU shroud for the overtly lazy PC builders out there. However, it’s near impossible to do a bad routing job here, as there are vast clearances behind the motherboard, and wide cable routing runs with cable straps throughout the back of the case, meaning you simply follow the paths laid out, and you’re getting a pro looking build every single time.

Should I Buy One?

NZXT is leading the market with their H-series, and the new H7 Flow is an absolute masterclass in PC case design. Great airflow, perfect air filtering, robust build quality, easy to use, and impressive hardware support. Plus, with a choice of non-RGB, RGB, and the dual tempered glass Elite version, all in either black or white, picking the model that really suits your needs couldn’t be easier. However, for me, the H7 Flow RGB has the best value for money with its four premium quality fans and better airflow compared to the more aesthetic nature of the Elite.
