Taking a look at the front, we see the typical grey and black styling as seen on the standard Vertex 3. We’re told of the main features including the SATA III interface and the fact that it’s SandForce driven. The capacity of the drive is down the bottom right, in our case a 120GB drive, and another sticker telling us that a 3.5″ adapter is included for your desktop usage.
Flipping around to the rear is where we find information on the drive and the Vertex 3 series as well as a full list of specifications. The full specifications allows the consumer to easily differentiate between the various models, such as the Vertex 3, and this, the Max IOPS edition.
Opening up the package up, we find exactly what we’ve seen in other drives from OCZ, with a installation guide and warranty leaflet, case sticker, mounting screws and 3.5″ bracket for mounting the drive into your desktop.
