Ozone Strike Mechanical Gaming Keyboard Review

What Ozone have supplied us with is not just another mechanical keyboard, but a keyboard that stays true to what they should be – function over form. The Strike is relatively plain in design, black with a few blood splatters to indicate that it has something more to it, but the quality and features packed into the keyboard is what makes it great to use.

Gone are the fancy back lights, gone are the macro keys, what you are left with is a simple, well constructed product that just does what it needs to and that is to perform well, and not only does it tick that box, but it also means you’d take less of a hit on your wallet if you purchased one.

Coming in between £60 and £80, the Strike is positioned at the lower price points for mechanical keyboards, making it an ideal keyboard for anyone looking to upgrade to a mechanical one without the additional faff you find in the higher priced boards.

Whilst the Strike does lack a few additional buttons such as macro or media keys, the board it’self is simply superb for what it is, but as mentioned, due to the Black Cherry MX switches, it wouldn’t be ideal for anyone who types a lot. Other than that small niggle, the Strike is a perfect bargain mechanical keyboard, that is a great convincer to people contemplating making the jump to mechanical. Not only will you have a lovely gaming keyboard, but one that will also last due to it’s solid and quality construct.

So, taking everything that we have seen and discussed about the keyboard, we are awarding the the Ozone Strike with not one, but two awards:
