Hard Drive InstallationOpening up the Patriot Box Office was a simple process. At the back of the Patriot Box Office there are two screws which once removed allows easy access to the internal components within the Patriot Box Office. The Patriot Box Office has a solid internal construction with metal protecting the PCB and providing a mount for a 2.5″ SATA Hard Drive to be installed.
The PCB of the Patriot Box Office can be seen from the bottom.
I used a Seagate 7200.4 500GB 2.5″ hard drive for our testing. The installation process was straight forward, the drive pushed directly into the SATA connection and then was secured by a screw on each side.
